Teoksen kuvaus

Jetta on tilaustyönä valokuvasta tehty muotokuva. Mustavalkoinen teos on toteutettu flat-shaded-tekniikalla markereilla, ja sen mustaa taustaa vasten hahmon ympärille on asiakkaan toiveesta lisätty hyvin hienovarainen, spraymaalattu vaaleanpunainen aura, joka tuo kuvaan lempeän hehkun.

Teoksesta välittyy rauhallinen, mutta voimakas läsnäolo, joka yksinkertaisuudessaan vangitsee kohteensa olemuksen. Teos merkitsee asiakkaalle paljon ja sisältää hänen omien sanojen mukaan ”koko elämän tunteiden kirjon”.

Asiakas kuvasi teosta sanoin: “Sanani eivät koskaan riitä kertomaan miten paljon tämä teos merkitsee minulle ja miten täydellinen se on. Niin hemmetin täydellinen”.

Artwork description

Jetta is a commissioned portrait created from a photograph. The black-and-white piece is rendered in a flat-shaded marker technique, with a softly spray-painted pink aura around the figure — added at the client’s request — bringing a gentle aura against the black background.

The work conveys a calm yet powerful presence that, in its simplicity, captures the essence of its subject. It holds deep personal meaning for the client and, in her own words, ”contains the full spectrum of life’s emotions”.

The client described the piece by saying: ”My words will never be enough for what this work of art means to me and how perfect it is. Just damn perfect”.
