Teoksen kuvaus

Tässä teoksessa Kelmin Lumo kuvittaa jaksamisen ja toivon merkit, jotka voivat ilmestyä synkimpinäkin aikoina.

Mustalla taustalla on käsin kirjoitettu teksti: ”If you are going through hell, keep going.” Sen alla kolme valkoista höyhentä muodostavat eteenpäin suuntautuvan polun kohti parempia aikoja.

Höyhenet, jotka hän näki usein kävelylenkeillään vaikeassa elämänvaiheessa, edustavat enkeleiden jättämiä viestejä, muistutuksia siitä, että näkymätön voima voi kulkea rinnalla ja rohkaista jatkamaan, vaikka kaikki tuntuisi toivottomalta.

In this work, Kelmin Lumo illustrates resilience and the signs of hope that can appear even in the darkest times.

Against a black background, a hand-written quote reads: ”If you’re going through hell, keep going.” Below it, three white feathers form a forward-leading path toward better days.

The feathers, which he often noticed on his daily walks during a difficult period in his life, represent messages left by angels, reminders that an unseen force can walk beside us and encourage us to keep going, even when everything feels hopeless.
